  Critical Review Of Medium Of Instruction

                     Medium of instruction means that language throught which all the subjects are taught. In a multingual country like  india there are various medium of  instructins. Mostly medium of instruction is either the regional language or english. 

Mother tongue as the medium of instruction:

                       India is a Multingual country. There are twenty two languages recognised by the constitution of india of which hindi is the offical National language of 30% of the people in the country. The  other languages are Assamee, Bengali, Bodo, Dogri, Gujarathi, hindi, Panjabi, Tamil Telugu and Urdu. In addition there are 844 different dialects used in  various part of the country.
    
                     English often forms the most important language for national , politocal and cmmercial communication.College in every state follow different medium of instruction.

English Language As  The Medium Of Instruction:

                          College follow english language as medium of instruction through out the country. After independence, it was viewed by leader and education that knowing and using English la nguage will be an additional advance for indians in modern  competitive and Globalised world.
                
                            Educationists having faith in the Globalisation and technical development advocate that education received through english medium can lead to faster and move rapid growth. Same nationalists argue Hinm of instruction.
